Well that’s not a very good way to encourage sales!
Adam Levine released his new microphone-shaped fragrances for men and women Wednesday night at an El Lay Macy’s.
When asked about the scent, the scruffy looking Maroon 5 singer said: “It smells like sh*t.”
What?!
Actually, he was just kidding! Levine quickly added:
“It smells really good. Well, I couldn’t really conceive the idea of not loving whatever it was. The task was to make something that I would wear. So that was a process and we finally came to a great conclusion and it smells great. I fully endorse it and I’m really happy because it has my name on it.”
Phew! We were getting nervous there for a second.
Later that night, Adam reassured fans that whether you buy the men’s or women’s, you’ll smell a-okay!
He tweeted:

Maybe at his next launch he won’t make such sh*tty jokes. LOLz! But seriously.
