Britney Spears Says She'll 'Find A New Family' -- And Makes Disturbing Claims About Sister Jamie Lynn & Ex Kevin Federline

Britney Spears is speaking out about her family again, and her latest message is a painful one.

On Sunday, the 44-year-old singer shared an Instagram post that showed a photo of Dakota Fanning‘s character in the 2003 movie Uptown Girls giving the middle finger. But the words accompanying it in Brit’s caption were much more serious.

In her post on Sunday, Britney first made some specific accusations about her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, as well as her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

For one, Britney claimed that when she traveled to Louisiana for extended visits during the COVID-19 pandemic, Jamie Lynn wouldn’t allow Britney to hold her young niece. And Kevin allegedly wouldn’t even let her use the bathroom when she would come to pick up her own children.

In the Toxic singer’s own words:

“I will find a new family !!! Jamie Lynn never let me hold Ivy one time when I would visit in Louisiana during covid in two week trips and Kevin wouldn’t let me use the bathroom when I would pick my children up in their house !!!”

Whoa.

And then Britney added:

“They made me feel like a slave and have all their secret things they did behind my back and all I ever did was work for my dad !!! I will find a new family !!!”

Oh, no…

Sadly, these family tensions are hardly new. Britney has spoken for years about feeling unsupported during the controversial conservatorship overseen by her father, Jamie Spears, which lasted from 2008 until 2021.

Then, in her 2023 memoir, The Woman in Me, she also criticized Jamie Lynn, too, while nevertheless acknowledging that she still loved her sister and hoped to move beyond her anger. There had even been at least a few signs of progress for a while there, tho. Last September, for example, insiders claimed that the two sisters were communicating again and considering seeing each other in person.

That’s what makes Sunday’s message so sad, we suppose. Whatever has happened behind closed doors, Britney’s words suggest there’s still a TON of deep hurt in these relationships.

Ugh. We just hope that everyone involved can find some peace…
