Madonna has decided to flex her acting chops yet again!
The Swept Away actress is intent on portraying Wallis Simpson, the twice-divorced American maneater who in 1936 lured King Edward VIII to leave the throne as the King of England to marry her.
Madge is smitten with the legend of Simpson and said to have plastered a wall in her London home with clippings of the harlot!
“Madonna sees Wallis Simpson as her next big film project. She is as passionate about it as she was about playing Eva Peron in Evita… she is fascinated with this American commoner who refused to conform or offer explanations for her tangeled love life,” explain reports on the magnitude of her passion for the part.
Honestly, we don’t know if we’re ready for another movie starring Her Madgesty!!
Unless it’s a musical – that’d be hot hot hot.
