Al Franken Cinches The Vote

A Minnesota court has declared Democrat Al Franken the winner in his 2008 Senate race against Republican Norm Coleman.
Coleman has already announced his intent to appeal and has 10 days to file a petition with the Supreme Court.
According to the the judges, “The overwhelming weight of the evidence indicates that the November 4, 2008, election was conducted fairly, impartially and accurately. There is no evidence of a systematic problem of disenfranchisement in the state’s election system, including in its absentee-balloting procedures.”
Coleman, however, has been battling the ballots, citing recount mismanagement.
If Coleman goes through with his appeal, it will further delay the seating of Minnesota’s second senator.
