After six seasons, production on TLC’s American Chopper is coming to a halt!
Some say the reality show, which began airing on the Discovery Channel in 2003, aided its own demise due to the massive falling out between father and son Paul and Paulie Teutul when Paulie left the family-owened motorcycle shop to start his own design firm last year.
Bummer!
Says a rep for the network: “The show has always been about building one-of-a-kind bikes and the drama of running a family business… The Teutuls will always be part of the Discovery family and we congratulate them on a tremendously successful series run.”
