Just a few days ago we told you guys the incredible story about how GMA‘s Amy Robach had a life saving cancer diagnosis after getting a mammogram on live TV.
It was caught early, but Amy made the brave and right decision to have a double bilateral mastectomy anyway — and she quickly went under the knife! Luckily, we have her husband, Andrew Shue, to give us an update on how she’s doing.
Here’s what the Melrose Place star said:
“@AndrewShue on behalf of my brave girl. She came through surgery beautifully. And so appreciates the genuine love and support.”
It’s crazy to think about Amy not knowing she had the cancer without the live mammogram. If she had been too nervous, or put it off, she could be in a much WORSE situation!
And we are SO HAPPY she’s doing well!!
