The entire nation nervously watched on as Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump faced off in their first Presidential debate on Monday night… including your favorite celebs.
That’s why Amy Schumer was the perfect guest for Watch What Happens Live! later that night — because she basically told Andy Cohen anything he wanted to hear!

While she plead the fifth when it came to Inside Amy Schumer‘s questionable future… she DID reveal that both Susan Sarandon and Diane Keaton turned down her iconic “Last F*ckable Year” sketch.
However, it was Rosie O’Donnell‘s random mention in the political parley that really brought the best out of Amy, as she joked:
“I thought, ‘Rosie’s at home, cheersing the screen that she came up,’ because it’s just such a great way of showing how inhumane and erratic he can be — and I thought Hillary really kept her composure. … What’s great about Hillary is that she has more composure than the Real Housewives, so it’s not gonna make for great reality TV but I think she’ll run the nation well.”
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
However, Amy and Andy were only just getting started — the talk show host even got the comic to talk a little bit more about the abusive relationship from her past, saying:
“You date someone when you’re younger; I have love for him, and I wish him the best. I just wanted other people in my situation to feel like they weren’t alone and know that it could happen to anyone. There’s not one type of woman who gets in an abusive relationship. … There’s just no type of woman, there’s an age of woman that’s more likely — and I was right at the age where I was highly likely to be in an abusive relationship. You know, it’s top CEOs and strong personalities. It’s not [just] for the weak, it can happen to anyone.”
Woah.
