Amy Schumer knew pretty early on that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Chris Fischer.
When promoting her new film I Feel Pretty on the TODAY show Wednesday morning, the comedienne revealed she knew her husband was “the one” about “a month” after they started dating!
But it wasn’t exactly love at first sight either. Schumer admitted the two had been friends for six months before things turned romantic.

As the actress recently revealed to Howard Stern, the award-winning chef is actually the brother of Schumer’s personal assistant, who suggested he cook for them one night during a trip to Martha’s Vineyard.
Things heated up between Fischer and Schumer a few months later, when, as she put it on TODAY, the two “got down to business really quick”!
