However, some Instagram users are convinced that the 37-year-old is already a proud mother of one.
On Monday, the funny lady wrote a post on social media about the work of Emily Oster, an economist at Brown University.
The comedian dished:

“The book #expectingbetter by @profemilyoster got me through pregnancy. It is a fact and statistic based look at pregnancy. She is an economist at Brown University. Her follow up book #cribsheet is about children from birth to preschool. I am so grateful for her work.”

When Amy’s caption went viral, admirers analyzed the part of how the book “got [Amy] through pregnancy.” Is Schumer’s use of the past tense indicating that she already delivered her bundle of joy??
Fans wrote:

“Uhhh congratulations? Lol idk if I’m reading too much into that”
“Through pregnancy meaning…”
“Got you through as in past tense?! Are congratulations in order?!”

For now, Amy has yet to confirm anything.
Sadly, the I Feel Pretty thespian’s pregnancy has been anything but smooth.
As we wrote in November 2018, she revealed she was hospitalized for hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe type of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.
Because of her illness, she was forced to cancel her show at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas, Texas.
Although her “baby’s fine,” she confessed she has “been even more ill” during her second trimester. She revealed:

“Texas I am so deeply sorry. I have been really looking forward to these shows. I have to reschedule. I am in the hospital. I’m fine. Baby’s fine but everyone who says the 2nd trimester is better is not telling the full story. I’ve been even more ill this trimester. I have hyperemesis and it blows. Very lucky to be pregnant but this is some bulls**t! Sending so much love to the doctors and nurses taking great care of me and Tati! They are cool as hell! And Texas I am really really sorry and I’ll be out there as soon as I’m better.”

Whether she gave birth or not, we just hope Amy and her family are happy and healthy!
