Amy Schumer has officially bounced from living in Barbie‘s world!
On Thursday, the Trainwreck star revealed that she’ll no longer be playing Barbie in the highly anticipated live-action flick. After all that drama, and we don’t even get to see Amy in Barbie-land? So sad.

The Inside Amy Schumer creator explained:
“Sadly, I’m no longer able to commit to Barbie due to scheduling conflicts. The film has so much promise, and Sony and Mattel have been great partners. I’m bummed, but look forward to seeing Barbie on the big screen.”
Bummer. Thankfully, there’s no hard feelings with the studio as a spokesperson for Sony noted in their own statement:
“We respect and support Amy’s decision. We look forward to bringing Barbie to the world and sharing updates on casting and filmmakers soon.”
Welp, we guess that’s that! We wonder if the studio already has a replacement for Amy in mind??
Nonetheless, we’re certainly saddened by this update…
