We all know Angelina Jolie used to be a rebel before the angel of golden goodness kissed her. But do we know how rebellious?
In a serious interview with 60 minutes, Angelina admits to living a very dark life before Brad Pitt. She says she’s just lucky she’s still here today because she very well could have joined the 27 Club.
She tells Bob Simon:
I went through heavy darker times and I survived them. I didn’t die young, so I’m very lucky. There are other artists and people who didn’t survive certain things.
[It’s] nothing I want to go into a lot of detail about, but I think people can imagine that I did the most dangerous and I did the worst├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥and for many reasons I shouldn’t be here.
We’re sure she chose not to divulge in the details because she’s a dedicated mother now, but let’s just say that the interview definitely conjures up scenes from Requiem for a Dream!
Angie! We’re so glad you made it through! We don’t care how many people question your man-friending tactics; you’re a true Hollywood actress, and we wouldn’t want to lose that prematurely!!
