So sad!
Angie Dowds, a fitness guru who has been helping contestants in the UK lose weight on The Biggest Loser since 2005, has reportedly committed suicide.
The 42-year-old’s body was found at the bottom of a cliff commonly used for suicide on Sunday. A police official conducting the investigation told sources:
“Just after 4.30pm on Sunday members of the public reported that a woman was seen to jump or fall from the top of cliffs at Beachy Head. Coastguards found the body of woman at the foot of the cliffs about an hour later. There are no suspicious circumstances and it is believed that the body may be that of a 42-year old woman from London.”
The award-winning trainer has battled drug and alcohol abuse in the past, but most recently suffered a split from her long-term partner, Corrie Preece, to whom she was engaged.
Ugh! We always hate hearing about these sad and tragic incidents, but especially because we know they could have been avoided if the victim got the help they needed!
