Anne Hathaway has had a VERY busy summer since she has been promoting and attending premieres all over the world for The Dark Knight Rises. However, she’s finally getting some much needed R&R on the East Coast following the Connecticut fundraiser for Barack Obama that she co-hosted on Monday.
We can exclusively report that the actress has been hanging out with her parents in Penn Yan, a small town village in upstate New York.
On Wednesday, Anne enjoyed some fine win at Hunt Country Vineyards on Keuka Lake and then overlooked the scenic water at the Esperanza Mansion during dinner.
Our sources tell us that she was polite and kind to approaching fans, but was really enjoying her time outside of the public eye.
Anne went antique shopping with her father as well and then hit up a local movie theater on Thursday night to watch Colin Farrell kick butt in Total Recall.
The sci-fi action remake didn’t score anywhere NEAR the same amount of good reviews or money at the box office as The Dark Knight Rises did, so we wonder what she thought of it?
