Anne Hathaway Left The Catholic Church For Her Gay Brother

Anne Hathaway has revealed that she and her family made the difficult decision to leave the Catholic church when Hathaway’s brother came out.

“The whole family converted to Episcopalianism after my elder brother came out,” Anne revealed in a recent interview with GQ. “Why should I support an organization that has a limited view of my beloved brother?”

Wow.

How incredibly touching!

But Anne soon found she wasn’t comfortable calling herself an Episcopalian, either.

“So I’m… nothing,” said Hathaway. “F**k it, I’m forming. I’m a work in progress.”
