You tell ’em, girl!
On Monday, Anne Hathaway dropped some serious words of inspiration amid her weight loss journey following the birth of her son, Jonathan Rosebanks, with husband Adam Shulman.

As you surely know, The Princess Diaries alum only gave birth back in March, so it’s no wonder Anne isn’t letting her remaining baby weight bring her down. In an empowering note on Instagram, the Oscar winner relayed:
There is no shame in gaining weight during pregnancy (or ever). There is no shame if it takes longer than you think it will to lose the weight (if you want to lose it at all). There is no shame in finally breaking down and making your own jean shorts because last summer’s are just too dang short for this summer’s thighs. Bodies change. Bodies grow. Bodies shrink. It’s all love (don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.) Peace xx #noshame #lovewhatyouhavebeengivenA photo posted by Anne Hathaway (@annehathaway) on Aug 8, 2016 at 7:33pm PDT
Preach! In fact, this isn’t the first time Miz Hathaway has opened up about her post-baby body. Previously, Anne dished to Ellen DeGeneres that she’d grown to appreciate her curves. Aww!
And it seems the Les Miserables actress’ words have resonated with fans as several of them have since commented on the inspiring IG post. One follower even wrote:
“I needed to hear those words I’ve gained 20 pounds instead of losing it this summer like I originally planned thank you for those kind words @annehathaway ├ó┬¥┬ñ├»┬╕┬Å”
We’re not crying, you are! Another fan simply noted:
“You are so amazing and positive and inspiring! Thank you so much ├ó┬¥┬ñ”
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. Keep doing you, Anne!
