Plus, she’s done all the grunt work herself! She’s written her character and picked out a song!
Last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Anne Hathaway was on to promote her new movie Love & Other Drugs. The conversation took a turn when Jimmy asked her if there were any T.V. shows that she would love to be on. Turns out, Anne is a bonafide Gleek and is hoping to land a guest spot on the hit musical show.
Then she confessed that she’d thought of doing the show so much, that she’d even come up with a detailed character for herself! She explained to Jimmy that she would like to play a “long, lost aunt” to Chris Colfer’s character Kurt. She would be a lesbian, who steps in to help Kurt with his struggle with his sexuality.
Good stuff right? Wanna know what makes it even better? She told Jimmy she’d want to sing You Are Not Alone from Steven Sondheim’s musical, Into The Woods.
Okay, see, now we’re having visions of Anne on Glee in our heads…and it looks FABOOSH!
