But how will people know you’re having fun if you can’t share a pic on Instagram?!
Apple may be on the cutting edge when it comes to mobile technology… but their latest tech may have officially crossed the line.
That’s because the iPhone company just won approval for a new patent on Tuesday that could make it impossible to record concerts on your phone!

Apparently, the new science for the built-in camera would allow your phone to detect both light waves and infrared, meaning you could futuristically pick up data about something simply by pointing your camera at it — kind of like a Pok├â┬⌐dex, for all you nerds out there.
However, this would also give stingy musicians *cough*Taylor Swift*cough* the ability to remotely disable recording abilities while they perform live!
Ch-ch-check out a blueprint of what Apple has in mind (below)!!!

Recording Disabled?!
The patent was originally drafted in 2009 when Steve Jobs was still alive with the intention of preventing bootleggers from illegally distributing concert video… but really it would mostly just stop fans from spoiling shows on social media.
Do U think Apple has gone too far with this new technology??
