According to a new study, you might have better blood sugar control during your work outs if you life weights FIRST, before doing your cardio exercise.
People with diabetes may have better blood sugar control during workouts if they lift weights before doing cardio exercise, according to a new study by Canadian researchers.
Now, the study was small and was preliminary — what the subject ate was not controlled.
Also, the subjects were all young and in pretty good shape to start with.
But the study is intriguing enough that it warrants follow up studies — which could lead to good news for those with type 1 diabetes.
