Ariana Grande‘s thank u next is EVERYTHING! Well, almost…
The megahit music video was actually missing a little something — closed captions!

Model Nyle DiMarco asked repeatedly for a version of the nostalgic vid for the hearing impaired, tweeting at the time:
.@Vevo,
You earn more than 650 mill per year and can't even add captions to @ArianaGrande's #ThankUNextVideo
There ARE closed caption services that will cost you ONLY $6 (or less) to INSTANTLY appeal to a wider audience
There are 466mill people with hearing loss
thank u, next

Ari even responded, tweeting:
???? @Vevo this is such a dope idea! please see this!
— Ariana Grande (@ArianaGrande) December 2, 2018
While closed captions were never added to thank u next, when it came time for Ari’s NEXT #1 hit, Vevo did provide them for 7 Rings.
But Nyle was proactive this time.
He teamed up with director Jake Wilson to go one step further, creating an alternate version of the music video — with not just captions but ASL! Amazing!
See all the sexy signing (below)!
