It’s official! Lily Collins will be portraying the legendary Audrey Hepburn!
In an upcoming film that’s going to tell the story about the making of the iconic 1961 movie Breakfast At Tiffany’s, Lily has snagged the long-anticipated casting of the leading lady. In a post to Instagram on Monday, the 36-year-old actress shared a photo of Audrey, writing:
“It’s with almost 10 years of development and a lifetime of admiration and adoration for Audrey that I’m finally able share this. Honored and ecstatic don’t begin to express how I feel…”

But not everyone is happy about the casting! Ariana Grande fans had created theories she was campaigning for the role. Not only has Ari called Audrey a style icon, reporters have brought it up to her! In 2025, one entertainment journalist noted how her red carpet style was reminiscent of the Roman Holiday actress. The reporter even took it one step further and gauged Ari’s feelings about a biopic. While remaining gracious and calling the journalist “kind” for the comparison, she played demure, saying such a role would have to be done “so perfectly” — implying she understood it would be a feat to land it!
