Ariana Grande Just Joined The Cast Of NBC's Hairspray Live! -- See Her Big Announcement About Her Dream Role!

This is SUCH a talented cast!
On Thursday, Ariana Grande revealed that she’s the latest celeb to join the star-studded cast of Hairspray Live! in an exciting announcement.
And, contrary to what her donut-licking past might lead you to believe, the pint-sized pop princess will not be playing the villain in NBC‘s upcoming live musical!

Instead, the gorgeous gal will lend her powerful pipes to the role of Penny Pingleton, bestie of protagonist Tracy Turnblad who will be played by newcomer Maddie Baillio.
The soulful singer took to Twitter to reveal the exciting news, and also freak the f*ck out like the true fangirl she is! She wrote:
