Is Ariana Grande Featured On Mac Miller's New Posthumous Album 'Circles'? Hear The Evidence!

Ariana Grande and Mac Miller were not only one of our favorite former couples, but also a match made in musical heaven before the rapper’s untimely passing in September 2018. The pair first joined forces on Ari’s 2013 track, The Way, and collaborated again in 2016 on Miller’s hit, My Favorite Part, to name a few.

Now, fans are all but convinced the two have done it again on Mac’s posthumous album Circles. The record, which was released on Friday, appears to feature uncredited vocals from the 7 Rings songstress on one of its tracks!

For those who may not know, Miller’s latest was crafted as a companion album to his 2018 project titled Swimming, which the rapper was working on at the time of his death. On the new song called I Can See, many listeners thought they heard Grande’s distinctive voice harmonizing in the background and immediately shared their reactions on Twitter.

First, give the clip (below) a listen so you can hear it for yourself:

A very soft, familiar-sounding voice can be heard harmonizing as the artist, born Malcolm McCormick raps:

“Yeah, don’t tell me to stop/Let me keep goin’ until I cannot/Life is a fantasy until you wake up in shock/Hittin’ the ground, I’m hittin’ the ground, I fell from the top/You never expect to drop, so hold on, but/That just the way it goes, your God don’t wait for no one/And when that’s all you know, it keep you on your toes/You got so far to go, but look at where you came from.”

Ariana and Mac’s family haven’t addressed the speculation, but as we mentioned earlier, people are convinced those angelic vocals belong to the Thank U, Next crooner.

Here’s what the general consensus seems to be online:

“someone tell me if it’s Ariana singing the harmonies on ‘I can see’ before I cry”

“Ariana harmonizing in the background of Mac Miller’s new song “I Can See” has my heart THROBBING”

“you can hear arianagrande’s vocals on mac miller’s “i can see”

“do I hear @ArianaGrande’s vocals on mac’s “I can see” ? my heart”

“I’m listening to mac’s new album and low key I am pretty sure it’s Ariana’s vocals on ‘I can see’???”

TBH, we’re inclined to agree!

Aside from the fact that it really does sound like Ari, the singer also fanned the flames of speculation with a few suspiciously timed tweets she wrote just one day before the album dropped.

See what we mean here:

We know her album Sweetener full of vocal rifts left and right — but is it a coincidence that she’d express her love for harmonies so casually right now? We think not.

Either way, the song is beautiful and we’re sure Mac’s fan base is appreciative of more music to keep his memory alive for years to come.
