Ariana Grande‘s single with Nicki Minaj is dangerously dirty!
The pop princess opened up to MTV about the totally NSFW meaning behind their cool collab Side to Side, dishing that it’s ALL about sex!

Specifically, it’s about getting slammed so hard that you can’t walk straight afterward.
Now, this seemed pretty obvious to us, considering these are the not-that-subtle lyrics to the chorus (below):
“Been here all night, been here all day/And boy, you got me walkin’ side to side”
However, certain people — *cough* Lena Dunham *cough* — still needed the steamy single’s blatantly sexual subject spelled out for them.
The Girls actress took to Twitter to explain that she required Jack Antonoff‘s help to break down the illicit lyrics, writing:

Ha! Even the woman whose own show constantly features intense sex scenes was confused! We guess some people just listen to the music and not the words…

Miz Grande herself even confirmed the song is all about having trouble walking after gettin’ that D, telling MTV:
“That whole song is about riding leading to soreness. Ride d*ck bicycle is the lyric, indeed.”
We mean, duh.
