On Tuesday, Ariana Grande shared a story on social media about how she was sexually objectified by a young boy who was trying to compliment her boyfriend Mac Miller.

The pop princess expressed her disgust about how casually the fan called the 23-year-old “sexy as hell” and applauded the rapper for “hitting that.”
In the lengthy anecdote, the singer exclaimed actions like these “contribute to women’s sense of fear and inadequacy.” But, since posting the story, Miz Grande has been slapped with backlash actually DEFENDING her objectification.
She explained on Twitter:
