Ariana Grande & Pete Davidson Have Apparently Split Before & Gotten 'Back Together'!

Pete Davidson Ariana Grande breakup

Fans may be shocked that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson suddenly ended their whirlwind relationship, but those close to the couple aren’t.
Days after the Tattooed Heart singer decided to call off their engagement, new details have come out about what was really going on behind the scenes. Believe it or not, Pete and Ari weren’t always as happy as they appeared on Instagram.

A source close to the couple revealed to People:

“They put on this front of being so happy but there were lots of fights and struggles behind the scenes.”

Hmmm. So were they just overcompensating with all that social media PDA?
Though the two had only been dating since May, a source close to the Saturday Night Live star says this weekend’s breakup wasn’t the first time the two had split, dishing:

“They’ve gotten into arguments and broken up before and got back together.”

Which means they just might get back together again, eventually:

“It’s definitely a fresh breakup, but they totally could get back together because who knows with those two.”

As we reported, Ari was seen supporting Pete at SNL on Saturday, just hours before news of their breakup broke on Sunday. The two decided to end their engagement over the weekend.

It’s no doubt been a rough few weeks for the Sweetner songstress as she’s had to deal with the loss of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller — a tragedy that, according to the Pete insider, weighed heavily on the couple:

“They’re dealing with things that people wouldn’t have to deal with in a lifetime — an ex-boyfriend reportedly overdosing and having all of this fame and attention. These followers and living their lives on social media … it’s a different world.”

Sounds like they just really needed to pump the brakes. The only question is… will Ari get off at this station or stay on the BDExpress a little longer?
