UPDATE 6:42 P.M. EST: Pete explained his Instagram purge with the following message on his Story feed:
“no there’s nothing wrong. no nothing happened. no there’s nothing cryptic about anything. i just don’t wanna be on instagram anymore. or any social media platform. the internet is an evil place and it doesn’t make me feel good. why should i spend any time on negative energy when my real life is fucking lit. the fact that i even have to say this proves my point. i love you all and i’m sure i’ll be back at some point.
you neighborhood goon
pete”
Do YOU agree with Pete??

Though he hasn’t deleted his account, he has removed not just his photos with Ari but his ENTIRE FEED! And now Ari’s account seems to have gone dark as well — as of this writing, you can’t even access it directly. Just try HERE.
How did this all start?
On Sunday, Ari posted this sweet photo with her late grandfather:
Pete commented:
Fans (or trolls, take your pick) clearly thought Pete was being inappropriately amorous in a post about Ari’s late grandfather.
Several commenters responded:
“wrong timing wtf”
“unnecessary af”
“leave”
Pete responded:
Apparently he decided getting attacked over every little misunderstanding wasn’t worth sharing pics of his life, because he went and DELETED EVERYTHING!
We don’t know WHAT is going on with Ariana’s, but it seems to be down for now.
She did tweet this today apropos of nothing, and we can’t help but think it’s about the IG situation:
the energy u put out is exactly what u get back,
please create a beautiful life for yourselves
