As we reported, a very insensitive and very unfunny joke Pete Davidson made following the Manchester bombing (which happened at his now-fiancée Ariana Grande‘s concert) resurfaced earlier this week, and now the 25-year-old songstress is speaking out.
ICYMI, the 24-year-old comedian said during one of his shows last fall, “Britney Spears didn’t have a terrorist attack at her concert,” referencing the bombing which killed 22 people and injured 59 in May 2017.

In response to a fan’s opinion on the matter, the No Tears Left To Cry singer wrote:
“this has been v tough & conflicting on my heart. he uses comedy to help ppl feel better ab how f-ed up things in this world are. we all deal w trauma differently. I of course didn’t find it funny. it was months ago & his intention wasn’t/ is never malicious but it was unfortunate”
