Wrote some songs about Ricky… Now she’s taking him back?!
That’s what Ariana Grande fans would like to know! One of her name-dropped exes in her hit song Thank U, Next, Ricky Alvarez, has been on her mind lately! It all started when her Eternal Sunshine Tour stopped in Austin, and fans noticed she changed some lyrics in her performance.
What originally said “wrote some songs about Ricky / now I listen and laugh” changed on Wednesday when she sang:
“Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now they kinda slap”

Ari took it a step further, too! She was spotted out and about this week with Ricky himself in ATX! They were spotted at a restaurant on Thursday, but sources for TMZ warned fans not to get too excited just yet. They said Ari was just celebrating her birthday with friends, since she turns 33 on Friday, and Ricky is one of her pals! Hmm.
We mean, it’s definitely possible! But we also understand why fans are thinking this could be a reconciliation. Especially with those changed lyrics! Plus, Ari is newly single after splitting up with Ethan Slater earlier this month… But what do U think? Sound OFF (below).
