Ariana Grande Sued Over Candle Flame Clip In 'God Is A Woman' Music Video

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande is in legal hot water!
The thank u, next superstar is being sued over a clip from her God Is A Woman music video, because an artist claims that Grande stole an idea for a woman in a candle from one of his paintings!

Vladimir Kush is suing Ariana and Freenjoy, Inc. — the production company that helped make the music video — because he claims that nearly 20 years ago, he first came up with the idea of a woman as the wick of a candle in two paintings he created, The Candle and The Candle 2.
According to his suit, seen by TMZ, the similarity is “uncanny,” and a clip in Ariana’s video where she features a woman as the wick of a candle with a cloudy sky backdrop is, according to Kush, a very clear rip-off of his two decade-old idea.
Hmmm…
Kush is alleging in the suit that the production company has previously stolen artistic works, as well — he cites an incident in which a different artist sued Freenjoy, claiming a rip-off over a Kendrick Lamar music video — and he wants Ariana to remove the God Is A Woman video from the internet.

Considering the video already has nearly a quarter of a BILLION views… that part may be a tough task.
Regardless, see if you can spot it for yourself — HERE is a link to Kush’s artistic work, and here (below) at the 1:09 mark, you’ll see Ariana’s candle:
