Armani The King Of Fashion The Italian Senate?

Santo Versace has nominated his rival, King Giorgio for a seat in the Italian Senate.
What!?
Maybe the Senate of Fashion, but the Italian Senate? Really?
Versace sent a letter to Italian President Giorgio Napolitano saying: “Armani is the best candidate to receive the nominee for senator for life. The image of our country would├óΓé¼Γäóve been very different without” Armani’s success in fashion.
Donatella Versace‘s brother just so happens to be a member of the lower house of Parliament, so maybe that could help Giorgio land a seat.
Even if Armani gets the seat, which could be appointed by Italy├óΓé¼Γäós president as a ├óΓé¼┼ôsenator for life├óΓé¼┬¥ recognizing the designer’s lifetime achievements, he’s 75 years old and as of late hasn’t been in great health.
But, Santo believes Armani is the man for the job saying: “No one can do a better job than Giorgio Armani in showing the beauty of Italy ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ the Italy that we desire.”
If anything that’s quite a compliment from a competitor.
