What the heck is going on with these two?
First we thought there was a chance that Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore may be rekindling their romance after a meaningful embrace at a party last week, then we heard there is no chance of that happening.
However, they announced their split last November and have yet to file ANY kind of paperwork to solidify their divorce.
Since they’ve waited so long to take any kind of action, people are starting to wonder whether or not the couple was actually married in the first place! A source explained the speculation by saying:
“There has been speculation for a while that Demi and Ashton were never actually legally married and that’s why they haven’t filed divorce papers yet. Some people think that they were just married in a symbolic Kabbalah ceremony and that they never actually filed the paperwork to make it legal.”
That would be weird considering Ashton hired famed divorce attorney Laura Wasser to handle the case. Maybe they are just comfortable taking very small, slow, but steady steps toward an amicable divorce.
Still, people are “wondering if the reason they haven’t filed divorce papers is because there aren’t any to file or if it is a just simple case of Demi not being able to bear to actually pull the trigger and still hoping against hope for a second try.”
There’s nothing wrong with taking things slow to start a relationship, so we don’t think there is necessarily anything wrong with ending a relationship slowly either.
Plus, Demi had some personal health and substance abuse issues in the last few months, so she had to take care of herself before taking care of her divorce.
Clearly, Demi and Ashton are going to do things their own way so all we can do is sit back and hope that everything works out for the best!
