Even the King of Twitter isn’t safe from hackers!
Ashton Kutcher‘s Twitter account was hacked on Wednesday while the actor was attending TED, a conference for techies and innovators in technology, entertainment, and design.
In fact, he was most likely punk’d by a TED attendee who was able to get into Ashton’s account over an unsecured connection.
The hacker’s messages were:
Ashton, you’ve been Punk’d. This account is not secure. Dude, where’s my SSL?
P.S. This is for those young protesters around the world who deserve not to have their Facebook & Twitter accounts hacked like this. #SSL
Yikes! That’ll teach ya to use a secure connection at all times!
As of Thursday, Ashton has yet to delete the tweets so who knows, maybe he was even in on it!!
