Aubrey Plaza has a bun in the oven!
The actress is expecting her first child with her partner Christopher Abbott — and the little one is due in the fall. So exciting! A rep for the Parks and Recreation star confirmed the news to People on Tuesday, as a source added that “they feel very blessed.”
“It was a beautiful surprise after an emotional year.”

As Perezcious readers know, Aubrey’s husband Jeff Baena passed away in January 2025. It was an incredibly tragic and unexpected loss. He was only 47. We later found out that Aubrey and Jeff had been separated for four months before his death, and she’d even moved from LA to New York at that time. However, she was still keeping in touch with her ex.
It’s unclear exactly when Aubrey got with Chris, but they’ve worked together in the past, such as on the Off-Broadway revival of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea in 2023 and in the 2020 film Black Bear. We’re wishing them well through the rest of the pregnancy!
