Looks like Mark Ruffalo wasn’t ONLY promoting The Avengers at Comic-Con this weekend…
During a recent interview, Bruce Banner/Hulk Mr. Ruffalo opened up about his feelings on Occupy Wall Street, and he had the following to say about it:
“Honestly, I see hope. The one metric that we forget is, we have to ask ourselves partially, who put Obama into the White House? That was a major coup for our country, that was the first African-American to be put in the White House, and he was put in the White House on a promise of change. A lot of his campaign promises were striking very much at the center of what I think this movement is about.”
“They believed what he was telling them for the most part, and that spirit of change is still deeply, deeply seated in their hearts and I would say a great portion of America├óΓé¼Γäós hearts. Just because the change wasn├óΓé¼Γäót delivered to us doesn├óΓé¼Γäót mean that it isn├óΓé¼Γäót alive and well in the imagination of the people.”
We’re sure that all the Occupy Wall Street protestors out there appreciate the support! The fact that you see hope in everything they’re doing must mean a lot to them!
