Cry those Canadian tears!
While Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger seemed like the perfect Canadian couple, it looks like those dreams are being dashed.
After just over a year of marriage, the duo are rumored to be splitting up.
Avril was recently spotted out and about in Hollywood without her wedding ring and now we’re hearing the Nickelback singer is confirming the split rumors:
“It’s over. He has been going around L.A. telling people that they are divorcing.”
Well, that sounds like this breakup might be the real deal.
Even though Chad gifted her with quite the sparkler for their one-year anniversary, it sounds like diamonds couldn’t save this romance.
Maybe he should have tried to write her a song instead???
