Avril's New Album Debuts With Low Sales

The first numbers are in for Avrill Lavigne‘s newest musical venture, and they’re not the best!
Her latest album, Goodbye Lullaby, is on track to sell 85,000 – 90,000 its first week in Amercia, which isn’t a huge slouch, but, compare that to her last album: 285k the first week.
It has also met mixed and lukewarm reviews.
In other news, despite his very vocal attack on his record label, Lupe Fiasco‘s new album is still selling quite well with between 220k and 240k projected sales!
That’s the second biggest release of the year behind the goddess Adele‘s 21, and the best start for him ever.
It’ll be inneresting to see how they continue!
