Endangered Black Rhino Calf Makes Public Debut!!

A little baby Black Rhino calf has finally made his public debut at Lincoln Park Zoo!!

His name is King Harris, named after a Lincoln Park Zoo supporter and member of the Board of Trustees.

The little King is so cute and part of an endangered species so he’s extra ahmayzing!

He was the first one born at the zoo in 24 years!! The baby is already growing at a crazy rate, having gone from 60-pounds to 130 in about a month. These rhinos are being poached out of existence so we’re so so so glad this little guy is healthy, trotting around his enclosure with his mama.

He’s so freakin’ CUTEEEEE!

Check out the video (above) to see the little cutie exploring the zoo!
