As we mentioned Monday, William Balfour was finally arrested for the murders of Jennifer Hudson‘s mother, brother, and little nephew.
Hudson’s estranged brother-in-law had been in custody in Stateville Correctional Center on a violation of parole and finally was transferred to Chicago police custody Monday after they served an arrest warrant.
But, now, Balfour’s attorney is speaking out. And to a celebrity magazine of all places!
We smell a media whore.
Balfour’s attorney, Joshua Kutnick, told People mag that his client “did not commit these crimes.”
Kutnick added, “The delay between the crimes and his actual arrest show weaknesses in the case. This case is not a strong case against William. He is a convenient suspect.”
Let’s hope the truth comes out soon.
