Earlier today we showed you Linday Lohan‘s latest acting gig – playing herself in a new Funny or Die video.
Now, the FoD video director, Eric Appel, is speaking out about Lindsanity and her clip, praising the trainwreck nonstop. He says Lindsay “wanted to do a Funny or Die video with all the stuff that everyone’s saying. She wanted to respond to it in a funny way, show that she gets it.”
And according to the people at FoD, it was La Loca Lohan who reached out to them last Wednesday about shooting a spoof.
She probably only agreed to do it if they said it was her idea!
Then, by Thursday, they were going over ideas, had a script the next day, and by Saturday she filmed the less than 2 minute clip in just under two hours after arriving 5 hours late. Appel addis, “She came up with the stuff about being a threat to all security guards — she improvised while doing it. She threw in a bunch of fun, funny stuff.”
That’s the secret. When you forget your lines, just improvise! We’re guessing she improvised almost all of it?
Appel continued, “She came in, did her thing, was really professional. People forget Lindsay Lohan’s, like, a good actress. There’s so much attention [to everything she does], but…you forget this girl has really good comic timing.”
Seriously, who are you trying to kid?
