Warning, Sin City! Ben Affleck is in town!
We recently told you how the 41-year-old actor was booted from the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas for card counting, and apparently his reputation preceded him.
There was an incident in 2001, when Ben won nearly $800,000 and apparently that has stuck with him ever since. In fact, on April 22nd, Games Protection Manager at the Wynn and Encore casinos, Rob Olivetti, sent an internal email that read:
“Ben Affleck (the actor) … Was informed that he was being way too obvious moving his money with the count. He was spreading $100 -10K on the double decks and $0-20K (2@10K) on the shoe games. As of now, he is still being allowed to play per casino management.”
A local security firm explained that Ben uses the common card counting method ‘perfect basic’ and added that he “also takes insurance according to the count. Uses black $100 cheques to keep track of the count while playing.”
Hmm… maybe it’s time to just stick to movies before he’s not welcome back in Las Vegas at all!
