Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s children aren’t afraid to say what is on their minds!
While promoting The Accountant 2 on Wednesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the 52-year-old actor was asked if Violet, Fin, and Samuel liked the movie. And they did — which is a shock to Ben!! See, they usually aren’t big fans of his projects! He shared that the kids are “very tough” on him, adding:
“They don’t censor their criticism. They’ll sit right next to me watching a movie and while it’s happening [say], ‘This is terrible. I mean, this is terrible. Why did you do this?’”

Brutal! Ben wished they would “wait until” the end of the film to bash him, but nope! The trio evidently give their honest opinions right on the spot!
Which ones have they gone off about, though? The dad revealed they watched the 1998 film Armageddon for the first time during the pandemic — and hated it! They even called it “stupid!” Ouch! Ben recalled:
“All the kids were in the house [during quarantine] and I was like, ‘Hey, let’s watch a movie.’ Almost immediately, it was like, ‘What? What is this? … Are you kidding me?’ My son was like, ‘This doesn’t make sense.’ [I replied], ‘This is not a logic-based film! That is not one of the criteria we used making this!’”
But the kiddos did enjoy The Accountant 2! However, Ben did think there was “a catch” to their praise! He said:
“They liked it. I was like, ‘What? You really liked it?’ They’re like, ‘Yeah, it was good.’ They were shocked as if I got lucky, like this magical accident happened and something I did was OK!”
LOLz!!!
If they disliked Armageddon, what did they think of Ben and stepmom J.Lo’s film Gigli, or Daredevil with Garner? We need their reviews ASAP! Ha!!!
