BET Awards Show Has Second-Highest Ratings Ever!

Viewership for the BET Awards is on the up and up!

Sunday night’s broadcast attracted 7.7 million viewers, an increase of 4% from last year’s 7.4 million.

This actually makes it the second-highest rating broadcast for the show ever. Its highest-rated was in 2009, with 10.7 million viewers, which was fueled by a Michael Jackson tribute.

The show is definitely attracting bigger names and better performances year after year. 2011 had some of the best performances yet.
