Singer Beth Ditto ended 2014 on a high note!
PerezHilton.com can EXCLUSIVELY report that the Gossip songstress — born Mary Beth Patterson — and her wife Kristin Ogata were legally married on December 31, 2014.
The couple held a beautiful Hawaiian wedding ceremony in Maui back in July 2013, where Beth and Kristin exchanged vows in front of their friends and family…
But same-sex marriage didn’t become legal in their home state of Oregon until May 19, 2014, so they had to wait to make it paper official.
Her rep told us:

Since gay marriage just recently became legal in Oregon, they got legally married on Dec 31st.

On Monday, Beth posted a photo on Facebook of the couple (above) surrounded by flowers with the caption:

Legally married finally, a year later! Thanks everyone who fought to make gay marriage legal in Oregon! In 2015, the whole US!

As of right now, gay marriages are legal in 36 states.
Congrats to Beth and Kristin and thanks for bringing awareness to an ongoing battle for equality!
