This divorce is so not going the Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes way where it got wrapped up nicely like a little present.
Instead, Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy are ready to tear each other apart in order to get just what they want, which is pretty much everything.
The former sort of happily in love duo have both filed divorce petitions, and now deets about the main fighting points are coming out and it doesn’t look like anyone will be budging.
We’re guessing the biggest issue is their little Bryn, as they both want primary custody. A source revealed this part of the battle could get nasty if they don’t learn to compromise, saying:
“Jason will absolutely not allow Bethenny to make him a part time dad on her terms. Jason will fight tooth and nail to have an active and meaningful presence in Bryn’s life.”
As he should!
We hope both parents realize it’s best if they are both in the little girl’s life. It’s about HER, not them.
But it’s also about m-m-m-money, as most divorces are in Hollywood.
Considering Bethenny has become super crazy, mega-loaded, partly during her time with Jason, everyone has their eye on that margarita glass filled with gold as the insider added:
“He feels that when he met Bethenny she was just in the beginning stages of launching her SkinnyGirl cocktail line, and he gave her a lot of free marketing advice and help. She relied on him A LOT during that time and he believes that’s what helped her build a brand that was ultimately sold for $100 million. Any money made by Bethenny and Jason during the marriage is going to be a huge fighting issue. Bethenny sold SkinnyGirl after they married and Jason contends he was a large part of her success, and maintains that he worked for her as an unpaid employee for many, many years.”
Nothing like a disgruntled, unpaid employee to ruin your day!
If all this is true, Bethenny is going to have one helluva fight on her hands.
All we can wonder is if film from Bethenny Ever After will be used for the case because we do remember seeing Jason helping her with business!
Uh oh, is reality TV going to bite Bethenny in the butt??
