Vintage Betsey Johnson!

Wow.

Teen Vogue got their hands on a picture of Betsey Johnson on her prom night in 1958 and it’s amazing.

She told the mag:

“I was queen of my senior prom. I probably only won because I was on the prom committee. I wore hoops and petticoats to make sure my princess gown stuck straight out├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥it had to be big, big, beyond bouffant big!”

Some things never change. Well, except for maybe her hair.
