The estate of former Hollywood actress Bette Davis is none too pleased with Stop Staring! Designs, so they’re taking action.
On Thursday lawyers of the estate filed a lawsuit with the Los Angeles County Superior Court, claiming the clothing company is infringing on Davis’ right to publicity by using her name to sell a $200 polka dot dress.
The estate is asking Stop Staring! for damages and for production of the dress to stop.
Oddly enough the company that represents the company is ONE LLP, the same firm who recently filed a right of publicity suit against Mattel for using Patricia Day‘s likeness without her permission.
