Having already enjoyed the divinity of Anderson Cooper, the guests in the General Assembly Hall of the United Nations got the ultimate treat when Beyoncé waltzed on the floor Friday!!
Dripping in shimmery white, Bey performed I Was Here in honor of World Humanitarian Day while images of various world regions and the faces of humanitarian workers flashed behind her.
Cameras captured the radiant performance for a new music video to premiere August 19! Soo excited!!! Check out the GORGEOUS photos (below)!!
After she finished, Beyoncé addressed the audience and said:
“I’d like to ask everyone to make sure they’re a part of August 19th. It’s such a beautiful, beautiful day, and I’d like to honor the 22 people who lost their lives. God bless you all. Thank you so much for having me.”
The lives she referenced were those lost in a terrorist attack in Iraq on August 19, 2003.
And we’ll ALL definitely be honoring them come the 19th! You can bet on that!! LOVE & LIGHT TO ALL!
