Beyoncé Just Landed Her SIXTH #1 Album On Billboard With Lemonade -- Get The Scoop

This should come as a surprise to NO ONE!
Since God’s perfect gift to the the world, aka Beyonc├â┬⌐, dropped her newest album Lemonade, everyone has been going crazy for it!
Sure there was an INCREDIBLE visual performance of Bey’s album on HBO, but the album itself is FIRE!

Well now that it’s been over a week and the sales numbers are in, Billboard has announced that Lemonade is the new #1 album on their Billboard 200 chart! If that’s not incredible enough, this honor earns the 34-year-old her SIXTH number one album.
According to Nielsen Music, Jay Z‘s wife sold an equivalent of 653,000 units during her first week which ended April 28. Though the year is still young, this makes the Queen’s album the biggest yet for 2016 in terms of sales AND overall units!
Not only that, but Blue Ivy Carter‘s mom is the ONLY act to have a number one album in their first six studio albums as well as the only one to debut at the top with ALL SIX albums!
As for the rest of the top 10, unsurprisingly Prince has five spots as this is the first full week of chart tracking since the artist’s death on April 21. A$AP Ferg, Rihanna, Chris Stapleton, and Justin Bieber end up rounding out the rest of the top spots.
