Not even the queen can please everyone!
Even though Target has done beysiness with Beyoncé before, they are now refusing to sell her new self-titled album.
But why??!
The smash hit won’t be lining their shelves because it was released exclusively online first.
Target spokesperson Erica Julkowski explained:
“At Target we focus on offering our guests a wide assortment of physical CDs, and when a new album is available digitally before it is available physically, it impacts demand and sales projections. While there are many aspects that contribute to our approach and we have appreciated partnering with Beyonce in the past, we are primarily focused on offering CDs that will be available in a physical format at the same time as all other formats. At this time, Target will not be carrying Beyonce’s new self-titled album ‘Beyonce.'”

This sort of feels like a bad break up, but obviously Target is the silly boyfriend that will end up being the only one suffering!
Who wouldn’t want a piece of the visual masterpiece??!
Clearly it hasn’t hurt her sales! LOLz!
It’s the digital age and the super store better log on before they lose out anymore!
