Well this is strange..
Late Thursday night on several music streaming services, brand new Beyonce tracks suddenly appeared under the alias of “Queen Carter,” in all encompassing two ten-track albums: one called Back Up, Rewind, and a second called Have Your Way.

Fans quickly went wild over the music right when it popped up across streaming services like on Spotify and Apple Music.
You can see the releases from these screenshots taken at the time (below):

Ahhh… what?!
Of course, as a few fans were astute enough to point out, this isn’t even technically new music from Beyonce, as all the tracks are just older releases with which the BeyHive is already very familiar (below):

OK… the picture is getting a little more clear? Who put this stuff up, then, anyways?!
Well, it appears Miz Carter’s legal team may already be on the case, going after whoever appears to have hacked and re-distributed some of her old music with a new cease and desist (below):

Ahhh… Inneresting!!!
And Bey is not even the first artist to fall victim to this little scam recently… SZA suffered an identical mix-up this week when several of her old tracks from 2015 were illegally shared to streaming platforms by a third party service under the artist name “Sister Solana.”
Sounds like there are some hacking problems with streaming services right now… hope they get everything squared away!
And seriously, don’t scare us again by just appearing to drop new Beyonce music like that with no warning! LOLz!!!
